Digitalising Public Health: Lessons from Covid 19

Digital technologies offer huge potential to improve the accuracy, breadth, reliability, and speed of contact tracing and other public health surveillance measures. However, in the absence of appropriate global governance frameworks, the usage of digital technologies during health emergencies presents multidimensional challenges. Governments and public health authorities have used various digital platforms advantageously to keep the public informed of the latest developments in the fight against the pandemic and for the effectiveness of the interventions. How digitalisation enhances quality of life in general and how far digitalisation helps in the surveillance mechanism during pandemic are important areas to be discussed in this context. We would also like to invite papers on data mining for personalised healthcare services, healthcare supply chain management and implementing health record regulations and standards regrading new telecare products for health care.
